Unser Februar-Programm ist da – Voller Kultur, Begegnung und kreativer Energie!
Der Februar steht vor der Tür und bringt bei uns im kitev wieder ein buntes Programm voller spannender Events, Workshops und Begegnungen mit sich. Neben unseren beliebten wöchentlichen Angeboten wie dem interkulturellen Frauenfrühstück, Yoga, StrakeICAFE und den verschiedenen Sprachcafés haben wir im Februar einige besondere Highlights für euch vorbereitet!
Special Events im Februar – Nicht verpassen!
Am 4. Februar laden wir euch ab 18 Uhr zu einem besonderen musikalischen Abend ein: Das Opener Konzert mit PERFORMANCE Wave-Chanson und Retro Pop verspricht einen stimmungsvollen Einstieg in den Monat. Konzert & Jam Session, free drink für musicians – lasst euch diese Gelegenheit nicht entgehen!
Wer es lieber experimentell mag, sollte sich den 7. Februar vormerken: Beim Jam-Pendel mit Workshop tauchen wir ein in die Welt der elektroakustischen Improvisation zwischen Looping und generativer Synthese. Gemeinsam mit Dominik Otremba und PERFORMANCE erkunden wir neue Klangwelten (17-22 Uhr in der Lokal Harmonie Duisburg).
Für alle Technik- und Musik-Begeisterten ist der 18. Februar ein absolutes Muss: "Mut zur Pause – ein Tontechnik Workshop mit Tim Kesseler & Jam-Session!" Ab 18 Uhr lernt ihr die Grundlagen der Tontechnik und könnt das Gelernte direkt in einer Jam-Session anwenden.
Ein emotionaler und wichtiger Programmpunkt erwartet euch vom 23. bis 28. Februar: Die Ausstellung zum Jahrestag des russischen Angriffskriegs auf die Ukraine bietet Raum für Erinnerung, Reflexion und Solidarität. Die Ausstellung läuft über mehrere Tage in der Unterhaus Gallerie und wird am 28. Februar um 16 Uhr mit der Veranstaltung "Jugend zwischen Freiheit und Krieg in der Ukraine" abgeschlossen.
Und zum Monatsende wird es nochmal musikalisch: Am 27. Februar nehmen wir euch mit auf eine Jam-Pendel-Fahrt mit der Ruhrort-Bahn & Live-Session im LokalHarmonie – Musik, free drink für musicians und eine besondere Atmosphäre garantiert!

Natürlich gibt es noch viele weitere spannende Angebote im Februar: von der Tralafitti Wanderung über kreative Workshops wie "Klamottekreativ mit Anna & Samia" bis hin zu Ideen-Co-Working-Cafés und Kurzfilm-Screenings. Alle Details findet ihr in unserem Programmflyer!

Auch unsere regelmäßigen Formate gehen natürlich weiter: Montags die KüfA (Küche für Alle – vegan), mittwochs das interkulturelle Frauenfrühstück, dienstags Sprechworkshops und Sprachcafés, freitags Yoga und der tschetschenische Sprachkurs sowie das Community Dinner. February is just around the corner, and at kitev we're bringing you another vibrant program full of exciting events, workshops, and opportunities to connect. Alongside our popular weekly offerings like the intercultural women's breakfast, yoga, StrakeICAFE, and various language cafés, we have some special highlights lined up for you in February!
Special Events in February – Don't Miss Out!
On February 4th, we invite you to a special musical evening starting at 6 PM: The Opener Concert with PERFORMANCE Wave-Chanson and Retro Pop promises an atmospheric start to the month. Concert & jam session, free drink for musicians – don't miss this opportunity!
If you prefer something more experimental, mark February 7th in your calendar: At the Jam-Pendel with Workshop, we'll dive into the world of electroacoustic improvisation between looping and generative synthesis. Together with Dominik Otremba and PERFORMANCE, we'll explore new soundscapes (5-10 PM at Lokal Harmonie Duisburg).
For all tech and music enthusiasts, February 18th is an absolute must: "Mut zur Pause – a Sound Engineering Workshop with Tim Kesseler & Jam Session!" Starting at 6 PM, you'll learn the basics of sound engineering and can apply what you've learned directly in a jam session.
An emotional and important program point awaits you from February 23rd to 28th: The Exhibition on the Anniversary of the Russian War of Aggression against Ukraine offers space for remembrance, reflection, and solidarity. The exhibition runs over several days at Unterhaus Gallerie and concludes on February 28th at 4 PM with the event "Youth between Freedom and War in Ukraine."
And at the end of the month, it gets musical again: On February 27th, we're taking you on a Jam-Pendel Journey with the Ruhrort Railway & Live Session at LokalHarmonie – music, free drink for musicians, and a special atmosphere guaranteed!

Of course, there are many more exciting offerings in February: from the Tralafitti hike to creative workshops like "Klamottekreativ with Anna & Samia," ideas co-working cafés, and short film screenings. You can find all the details in our program flyer!

Our regular formats continue as well: Mondays feature KüfA (Kitchen for All – vegan), Wednesdays the intercultural women's breakfast, Tuesdays language workshops and language cafés, Fridays yoga and the Chechen language course, as well as the Community Dinner.
