Das März kitev Programm – save the dates!
Der März bringt viel Neues in die Räume von kitev. Neben dem gewohnten Wochenprogramm – dem offenen Café für alle, Sprachcafés, dem interkulturellen Frauenfrühstück, Yoga, Community Dinner und SträkelCAFÈ – stehen diesen Monat einige Specials an, die wir euch besonders empfehlen möchten.
Den Anfang macht die Vernissage: Immersive Echoes am 13. März um 18 Uhr in der Unterhaus Galerie. Die VR-Ausstellung eröffnet an dem Abend und ist danach bis zum 28. März täglich von 15 bis 19 Uhr zu sehen. Ein guter Grund, vorbeizukommen.
Am 18. März verwandelt sich der Leerstand in einen Konzertraum: DIE ZWEI GLORREICHEN HALUNKEN & LAZY LUKE spielen ab 18 Uhr live, danach gibt es eine offene Jam-Session – Instrument mitbringen ausdrücklich erwünscht. Free drink for musicians. Die Veranstaltung ist barrierefrei.
Wer sich für Technologie und den Erhalt von Orten interessiert: Am 20. März findet in der Unterhaus Galerie der Workshop „Digitale Zeitkapseln: Orte bewahren mit Gaussian Splatting" statt (16–20 Uhr). Vier Stunden Praxis für Einsteiger*innen, bei denen es darum geht, reale Orte als 3D-Modelle zu erfassen und zu erhalten.
Und zum Monatsabschluss, am 26. März um 19:30 Uhr, gibt es im Leerstand NORMAL / Eine Besichtigung des Wahns – einen Abend mit Musik von Thomas Ebermann & Thorsten Mense und Flo Thames, der sich mit Irrationalismus und dem auseinandersetzt, was als „normal" gilt.
March brings a lot of new things to the spaces of kitev. Alongside the regular weekly program – the open café for all, language cafés, the Intercultural women's breakfast, yoga, Community Dinner and SträkelCAFÈ – there are some specials this month that we'd particularly like to recommend.
Things kick off with the Vernissage: Immersive Echoes on March 13th at 6 pm in the Unterhaus Galerie. The VR exhibition opens that evening and can then be visited until March 28th, daily from 3 to 7 pm. A good reason to stop by.
On March 18th, the Leerstand turns into a concert venue: DIE ZWEI GLORREICHEN HALUNKEN & LAZY LUKE play live from 6 pm, followed by an open jam session – bringing an instrument is very much encouraged. Free drink for musicians. The event is barrier-free.
For anyone interested in technology and the preservation of places: on March 20th, the Unterhaus Galerie hosts the workshop "Digital Time Capsules: Preserving Places with Gaussian Splatting" (4–8 pm). Four hours of hands-on practice for beginners, exploring how to capture real locations as immersive 3D models.
And to close out the month, on March 26th at 7:30 pm, the Leerstand hosts NORMAL / A Tour of Madness – an evening with music by Thomas Ebermann & Thorsten Mense and Flo Thames, exploring irrationalism and what gets to count as "normal."
